Forever Loving Hands offers assistance with maintaining dignity and independence. We recognize that, "it could be me," and therefore pride ourselves in offering all the comforts and amenities of, "home sweet home." We offer excellent quality care along with the peace of mind assurance that your loved one will be cared for with their needs forefront.
Forever Loving Hands has spent the last five years providing in home support for families and their loved ones who would otherwise be in an assisted living facility or a Nursing Home. We help people with high functioning and low functioning disabilities. Also, we have worked with the St Lucie County Mental Health court system to provide housing for individuals returning from incarceration or institutional life. Forever Loving Hands has been assisting people to help them develop, "life sustaining skills," in order to function as well adjusted productive citizens. Our staff is both professional and compassionate. Caring, concerned and committed are simple words with complex values that attribute to the heart of our CEO, Corliss Phillips.
From phlebotomist to nurse, Corliss Phillips has the education and practical skills needed to provide empathetic quality care. She is dedicated to going above and beyond the "call button." She is concerned about the health, welfare, safety and well-being of others. She is grounded in the mission of meeting the needs of the disenfranchised; the hungry, the naked, the sick and elderly. "God has taken me in many positive directions to acquire all the skills I need in order to operate my business and provide optimum care services with a staff of six people and myself. I believe once your heart and mind is in accordance to treat people as if they are members of your own family, the much better off they will be, with more personalized help and assistance. Some people think the bigger the health care business or health facility is, the better care they will receive, but often that is just not true. I don't believe in providing care as a mass production." Corliss Phillips is committed to helping others stay in their homes with the right to life, liberty and continued happiness.
"Fluids cause high blood pressure
and damage to the heart!"
"I know you don't want that
'cause I know you're very smart!"
"Ten kilos of weight gain?"
"That is unacceptable!"
"Next time when I see you
have your weight under control!"
Words from our Nurse Corliss
She is always "in your face"
For my own well-being
she was getting "on my case."
She's the kind of nurse
that only blessed people should earn
She often gives "pep" talks
and shows genuine concern
Healthcare workers everywhere
will help patients to cope
Corliss gives you full attention
loving care and hope
That is why I honor her
and bless her in this poem
I'll be always grateful
'till the day I shall go home.
